Hi all,
ok this didn't matter much when i wasn't on email lists, but I'm already back on a few, so now it matters. I don't kinow when this happened, with jaws 7 or what, but I can't get messages to collapse. This was one thing i liked about outlook express, messages could be collapsed, you could press the right arrow and there would be messages right under the original. now, in the options menu under tools on the read page, it has automatically expand collapsed messages unchecked, well it did til I checked it. when i went to the view menu, both collapse messages and expand messages is unavailable. I went in to the read page under options and checked automaticallly expand messages, hoping I could then collapse messages in the view menu, and expand the message thread by hitting the right arrow as i use to do when i was on email lists, but its no good. is the option to expand a thread gone? or is there something Im missing? thanks,

that is strange, i use that all the time. never had to change anything.
yeah thats weird, might go back to jaws 6 and see if I still have this in 6.

i don't think it is a jaws issue, sounds like something in outlook express itself
well, since i can't find where to fix it in the read page or the view menu, I do't really know what else to do.

I've never seen this before.
I can garrantee you it isn't a jaws issue. It's something to do with your settings in outlook express.

um, I know, after i posted my last message about it, I was arrowing down in th eview menu, and came on that group messages by conversation, and it was unchecked, so i checkded and that fixed the problem. I probably should've came back and said so earlier, but didn't know if anyone else would eer respond to it so thought i'd do it later. I feel sort of silly when i figure something like that out after posting that i didn't know what to do to fix it, lol.
